When you start working with the SDK and extension for the first time, there are no SDK and toolchain versions installed on your machine. The Welcome View only shows the following buttons:
- Install SDK - for installing the SDK and toolchain bundle
- Install Toolchain - for installing the toolchain only
Click the Install SDK button to install both the SDK and toolchain at the same time, as described in How to set up SDK and toolchain.
Tip
If you only see Install Toolchain, you already have an SDK installed on your machine. You can check its path by generating the support information.
If you see the Manage SDKs and Manage toolchains actions instead, you already have an SDK and a toolchain installed on your machine. You can use these actions to install additional SDK and toolchain versions.
