The installation adds the nRF Connect icon to the Activity Bar of Visual Studio Code.
Click the icon to open the extension.
Tip
If you do not see the icon, check your Visual Studio Code setup. Reasons might be different and are not related to the extension. For example, one reason could be Visual Studio Code permissions related to Extension runtime security.
When the extension opens, it automatically checks the extension prerequisites. If anything is missing, a warning appears in the extension status area of the Status Bar.
When you open the extension for the first time, the extension asks whether you want to provide telemetry data.
