The Variables View shows the following scopes for the selected stack frame:
- Registers - CPU registers and their hexadecimal values. The registers are grouped by purpose, such as general-purpose, argument, status and control, and floating-point registers. The available groups depend on whether the processor uses the Arm or RISC-V architecture.
- Locals - Local variables, their values, and their types.
Register values are refreshed when the debugger stops.
