Note
Pre-release versions are not yet available on the Open VSX Registry.
You can switch to using the pre-release versions of the extensions by completing the following steps:
- Open the Visual Studio Code's Extensions sidebar.
- Search for the extension name.
- Open the extension page.

Under the extension's name, click the Switch to Pre-Release Version button.
Visual Studio Code will install the pre-release version of the extension. The button name will change to Switch to Release Version and a teal triangle will appear in upper left corner of the extension's icon in the Extensions sidebar to indicate that you are now using the pre-release version:
