Use the nrfutil device halt command to halt CPU execution on a connected device.
Halting stops the firmware from running. This gives you a stable target for debugging, register inspection, and memory access with commands such as device read and device write. Many nrfutil device operations halt the CPU automatically before they run. Use the standalone halt subcommand when you want to stop execution without performing another operation.
