Preparing nRF Util offline bundle

Complete the following steps to prepare the nRF Util bundle for offline usage with a USB drive:

  1. Insert the USB drive to which you want to copy the offline version of nRF Util.
  2. Check the mapping of the USB drive. The following steps assume that you are using Windows and that the system maps the USB drive to E:/.

  3. When connected to the Internet, run the following command to download the nrfutil executable file and copy it over to the USB drive:

    nrfutil prepare-offline E:/nrfutil-offline

This command downloads and prepares tarballs containing the latest version of all available nRF Util commands to the USB drive. It also prepares a portable package index for nRF Util queries.
