For certain trace operations, this tool requires SEGGER J-Link.
Before you start using nrfutil trace, ensure the nrfutil device command is installed. You will need this command to list device information, such as serial ports, serial numbers, and device traits. See Installing and upgrading nRF Util commands for installation instructions.
If you want to pass trace data to Wireshark, make sure to download and install the latest version of Wireshark.
