Some target devices require an encrypted or authenticated Bluetooth LE link before SMP operations are allowed. Use the following pairing options on the first connection to establish a bond and store the encryption keys in a device database file. You can then use the mcu-manager ble-database command to manage the device database file.

Options Description
--pair Pair with the device when running the subcommand.
--bond Do pairing with bonding. The bonding information is stored to the device database file. Requires --pair and --device-db.
--device-db <PATH> Path to the device database file. Created on the first bonded pairing.
--secure-connection Use Bluetooth LE Secure Connections during pairing. Requires --pair.
--mitm Require man-in-the-middle protection during pairing. Requires --pair.
--io-capabilities <IO_CAPABILITIES> IO capabilities of the central during pairing. Requires --pair. Default: no-input-no-output.
