Before capturing modem traces in Wireshark, complete the following steps:
- Connect your device to the computer with a Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable and power it on.
- Install Wireshark and the plugin.
- Update your device and configure your application for modem tracing as described in configuring application for tracing.
If you used the precompiled firmware provided by Nordic Semiconductor, the plugin supports all firmware versions.
