nRF Util's nrf5sdk-tools command provides all functionalities available in nRF Util versions prior to the release of v7.0.0 of the core module. These functionalities were available for the nRF5 SDK as nRF Util for nRF5 SDK.
Note
With the release of the core module v7.0.0, nRF Util's architecture has been reworked and is no longer compatible with earlier versions. This also means that nRF Util is no longer provided through pip. This nrf5sdk-tools command preserves the functionality of nRF Util v6.x.x in versions 7.0.0 and later.
