The extension's performance gradually degrades as we add new features, and we have spent some time resolving some bottlenecks for this release. As a result, the extension activation time has been reduced by an order of magnitude for some workspaces.
In particular, the following actions are now faster and more scalable:
- SDK discovery
- Board indexing
- Build configuration indexing
- Devicetree type listing
- Devicetree parsing
- Sidebar rendering
