The integration has the following requirements:

  • Your nRF Cloud account is linked to the myNordic account that you use with Nordic MCP.

  • Your nRF Cloud account has a favorite organization selected as the default. The integration uses this organization.

  • Your Nordic MCP authorization includes the nRF Cloud feature. You select this feature during authorization.

  • Your firmware integrates the Memfault Firmware SDK and uploads data to nRF Cloud.

You enable firmware reporting in a separate Development configuration task. Use Nordic knowledge search to verify the current SDK version and the target-specific requirements, such as Kconfig options, coredump storage, and upload transport.
