Authentication fails or requires renewal

Re-authenticate with myNordic if you see one of these errors:

• Idp token exchage failed
• Idp invalid transaction
• Idp authorization failed
• The client ID xxx was not found in the server's client registry

Also re-authenticate to change your authorization and enable the nRF Cloud integration.

• In VS Code:
  1. Run Authentication: Remove Dynamic Authentication Providers.
  2. Select https://aidev.nordicsemi.com, then select Remove.
  3. Run MCP: List Servers and select Nordic MCP.
  4. Select Restart Server.
• In Cursor:
  1. Run MCP: Clear All MCP Tokens.
  2. Go to Customize > MCPs and select Nordic MCP.
  3. Select Reload.
• In Claude Code:
  1. Enter /mcp.
  2. Select Nordic MCP.
  3. Select Re-authenticate.
