You can perform FOTA updates using the nRF Cloud Web UI or the REST API.
After creating and applying a FOTA job in nRF Cloud, the device checks for updates automatically on a configured interval and when triggered by user input (for example, a button press). To trigger a check manually during development, connect to the device shell and run:
att_fota poll
The device must be connected to the network and cloud. If a pending update is found, the FOTA module starts the download automatically.
