Configuration through nRF Cloud UI

1. Log in to nRF Cloud.
2. Go to Fleet > Devices and select your device.

3. Select the Device Shadow tab.

   The Device Config table lists each setting with the value the device reports, the desired value, and the sync status.

   

4. Enter the new value in the Desired column for the setting you want to change. For example, set config.sample_interval to 300 and config.storage_threshold to 1 to sample every 5 minutes and send data immediately after each sample.

   To remove a desired value, select the delete icon next to it.

5. Select Save Changes to apply the changes, or Cancel to discard them.

The device receives the new configuration through its shadow on the next cloud sync and adjusts its sampling interval and storage mode accordingly. The Sync status column shows pending until the device reports the new value.
