The SPIM SCK can operate at different frequencies. To set the SCK frequency, write a prescaler divisor value into register PRESCALER. The prescaler divides the SPIM core clock by the divisor to make the SPI clock. The divisor only divides by even numbers. If an odd number is written to the register PRESCALER, the even number DIVISOR-1 will be used.
SPIM instances can have different SPIM core clocks with different limits for the prescaler divisor. The SPIM core clock and divisor limits are given in the instance table on Registers
