The set command configures specific features of Skylo® service.
The modem must be deactivated before the command can be used.
Syntax:
%SKYLO=<feature_id>,<state>
The set command parameters and their defined values are the following:
- <feature_id>
- Integer. Skylo operational
mode and features.
- 0 – Configures generic Skylo
features. This setting is activated automatically when a Skylo UICC is detected from IMSI.
The
%XOPCONF=21 command can be used to activate this
configuration.
- 1 – Mobile-originated device. Optimization enables a power saving for devices that
only initiate communication. The modem optimizes tracking area updates to reduce current
consumption.
- 2 – SMS requirements. Enables Skylo-specific requirements for SMS functionality.
- 3 – Signal quality check. Enables a check to verify that the signal quality is
sufficient before the modem reattempts Attach. This feature prevents futile connection
attempts in poor signal conditions, which helps save power and reduce unnecessary
network signaling. This can also be configured with the %FEACONF command's
<feature_id> value 7.
- <state>
- Integer. Enables or disables the feature.
- 0 – Feature is disabled.
- 1 – Feature is enabled.
The following command example enables generic Skylo requirements:
AT%SKYLO=0,1
