Box and Moisture Sensitivity Level Labels

The following table describes the label components.

Human-readable information Standard English  
Data Identifier (DI) ANSI MH10.8.2-2021 An alphabetic or alphanumeric code uniquely assigned to information on the label. It is used in parsing barcode information.
Linear (1D) barcode Code 128 or Code 39 Available for select label items. It appears below the human-readable information it represents.
Two-dimensional (2D) barcode ECC-200 (data matrix) Available on inner box, outer box, and second outer box labels. See 2D barcode for more information.
Nordic Semiconductor logo Nordic Semiconductor standard  
Regulatory and compliance symbols J-STD-609 Includes the following:
  • Lead-free symbol – shows Pb-free compliance, if applicable.
  • Second-level interconnect terminal finish symbol – an encircled number.
  • QA acceptance symbol – a printed or stamped label that shows quality approval.
Country certification symbols Multiple country certification bodies Might include the CE mark, UKCA, China RoHS, or other marks as needed for export compliance and product safety regulations.
