The Bluetooth® SIG Erratum 10734 – Pairing updates v1.0 lists the changes made in the Bluetooth Core Specification version 4.2 and version 5.0 to improve security in the pairing procedures used in Secure Simple Pairing and Bluetooth LE Secure Connections.
The erratum indicates the changes by comparing the text of the current release and previous release of the Bluetooth Core Specification.
This chapter shows the changes in the Bluetooth Core Specification version 4.2 and version 5.0 that are related to Bluetooth LE Secure Connections. The required changes described in Bluetooth SIG Erratum 10734 – Pairing updates are addressed in the software modules used in the Bluetooth LE Secure Connections, i.e. nrf_crypto and ble_lesc. The changes are available in nRF5 SDK v15.0.0 and later. All the required changes and some recommended changes have been implemented.
