Some IDEs work better with tools than slash commands.
Use the corresponding read-only tool IDs (nordicsemi_setup_ncs and nordicsemi_workflow_ncs) if your MCP client requires them.
Nordic MCP slash commands are designed to be used in two separate phases using separate AI assistant chats. Splitting them keeps the context window for each AI assistant focused, which leads to better code quality and more reliable results.
