To use Nordic MCP in your IDE:
- Add Nordic MCP to your IDE as an HTTP MCP server.
- Authenticate using your myNordic account when your IDE prompts you.
Note
- Visual Studio Code is the recommended IDE for the nRF Connect SDK.
- In this first release, the Nordic MCP server is not yet tightly integrated with the nRF Connect for VS Code extension. Your AI assistant and the extension can still work effectively on the same workspace files. Closer integration is planned for the next release.
