Symptoms
Current consumption is higher than expected.
Conditions
The SPIS chip select (CSN) line is high, and the SDO line does not have pull-up or pull-down resistors.
Consequences
Current consumption increases by up to 0.5 mA when SPIS is used.
The additional current consumption is influenced by VDD and temperature.
Workaround
Ensure that the SDO has a known state and is not left floating.
For example, use an internal or external pull-down resistor on the SDO line.
