The nRF21540 EK is equipped with SubMiniature Version A (SMA) connectors for easy connection to laboratory equipment. For RF measurements, connect your radio input or output to the TRX connector on the EK.
The following figure shows how to connect the nRF21540 EK to a spectrum analyzer and the TRX connection for the radio input/output. The cables are not included in the kit.

To connect the EK to the RF source on a Nordic DK, such as the nRF52840 DK, use a test probe like Murata part no. MXHS83QE3000.
The connector and test probe add loss to the RF signal. See the following table for more information or consult the test probe user guide if you are using another model.
